Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts, that we to whom the Incarnation of Christ Thy Son was made known by the message of an Angel, may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His Resurrection. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
We thank You, O Lord, that through the message of an angel You made known to us the Incarnation of Your Son. Grant that through His Passion and Cross we may be brought to the glory of His Resurrection. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
About the Angelus
The Angelus is a traditional Catholic and Anglican devotion commemorating the Incarnation. Traditionally prayed at 6 AM, noon, and 6 PM when the Angelus bell rings, it recalls the angel Gabriel's announcement to Mary and her acceptance of God's will.
