Immanuel Lutheran Church

Overview

Immanuel Lutheran congregation is an historic congregation in the downtown area of Wichita, Kansas. We are the oldest Lutheran Church in Wichita and celebrate our Lord’s Holy Supper every Sunday (9:30am), Wednesdays at 11am, and daily at 7:30am during Advent & Lent, as well as on many of the feast days throughout the year. We have daily (Mon-Fri) Matins at 8am and Vespers at 3:20pm during the school year (Matins continues through summer at 9am). We sing Latin hymns at Vespers and sometimes at the Divine Service on Sundays. We have a rich, full choir along with many talented church musicians dedicated to doctrinally sound, liturgically oriented music. We host Concordia Academy, a classical Lutheran High School (and the only Lutheran High School in Kansas). We’ve listed our website, but rest assured, we’re building a better one.
