Our Redeemer Lutheran Church

Overview

We are a confessional LCMS church following the Holy Scriptures and the unaltered Book of Concord derived from them. We seek to console the broken and contrite heart with the promises of forgiveness in Christ and to call those to repentance who abuse the Word and Sacraments, put their faith in their own works, or who deny the third use of the Law and so have become lawless and living outside of the body of Christ. We preach and proclaim the Law to subdue our sinful nature and the Gospel to save us as God’s Holy Spirit sanctifies us in the power of the Word and Sacraments. We serve Holy Communion to visiting LCMS members in good-standing and require others to refrain until they have been properly catechized. Like the church of old, we do practice church discipline to call those who have wandered astray back to the true Faith and practices which lead the true believers to eternal life by the power of Christ’s atoning death and forgiveness of our sins.
