Why a Lutheran Rosary?
The rosary grew within the Western church as a way to meditate on the life of Christ. This adaptation preserves that Christ-focused meditation while ensuring every prayer confesses Him as the only mediator (1 Timothy 2:5). It honors Mary and the saints as faithful witnesses who point us to Jesus, without appealing to their intercession.
- • Biblical wording of the Hail Mary ending with the name of Jesus.
- • Thanksgiving in place of Marian intercessory prayers.
- • Optional Psalm-based devotions and Lutheran hymnody.
